Protesters Occupy OpenAI HQ, Demanding Altman Back Binding AI Treaty

Following a protest at Hugging Face last week, organizers have shifted their focus to a daily occupation outside OpenAI's offices. Their recent open letter asked developers to voluntarily pace AI development, but protesters argue this is insufficient without government enforcement.

Currently stationed outside OpenAI headquarters with "Stop The AI Race" banners, protesters claim the company even deployed fake bushes to block the signs from employees' view. The group vows to stay until Sam Altman calls for a binding AI Treaty.
