Analysts forecast China’s AI chip shipments could rise from 3.8M to 12.9M by 2028
A report cited in the post says Guohai expects China’s AI chip shipments to grow from 3.8 million this year to 7.59 million next year, and then to 12.9 million in 2028. It also projects supernode penetration to jump from 15% to 55%.
The post frames the numbers as a sign that domestic AI infrastructure demand and local system production in China could scale quickly over the next few years.
