Developer Marc Lou shared his July revenue data for his indie products, reaching a total of $98,417 for the month, an all-time high for his SaaS portfolio, while maintaining an impressive 85% profit margin.
His revenue comes from a diversified product stack:
- TrustMRR ($44K) and DataFast ($26K) serve as the primary cash cows.
- Ship or Die ($13K) and CodeFast ($6K) provide solid recurring revenue.
- Other long-tail products like ShipFast and Indie Page contribute smaller amounts ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.
He highlighted that all products are built, designed, and promoted entirely by himself, while maintaining a strict lifestyle routine: 2 hours of daily gym time, closing the laptop at 6 PM, and sleeping 8 hours.
Note: The original tweet quoted another developer, jonathanwilke, who made $7,279 in July and outlined plans to pivot by launching mobile versions and optimizing for agentic coding.
