Codex keeps running after credits expire, unlike Claude Code

The reply says a key difference from Claude Code is that Codex keeps running the task even after credits expire, instead of stopping immediately.
The point is that when a prompt drains the remaining balance, the current run can still finish, which the author sees as a useful product behavior difference.
