AGI House event spotlights realtime voice AI with 24 teams and three winners
agihouse_org · x · 2026-08-04
AGI House says the next frontier of consumer AI is voice: realtime, full-duplex conversation that detects tone, handles interruptions, and responds in under a second.
At a Saturday event, 24 teams built on that idea. Winners included:
- Math Tutor: teaches math step by step instead of just solving it
- Meet AGI: joins meetings, fact-checks claims in real time, and answers to “Hey AGI”
- Scribe Coding Agent: lets you speak your app into existence hands-free
Keynotes came from Kylan Gibbs (inworldai), Ivan Knez (tenstorrent), and Lanyin Zhang (characterai), covering realtime voice infrastructure, low-latency hardware, and multimodal voice at consumer scale. Recordings and demos are promised soon.
