A founder of an agentic AI jobs board says the site is tracking 1,754 live roles, and only 2.1% are entry-level.
The dataset breaks down the listings as follows:
- Intern: 21 (1.2%)
- Junior: 16 (0.9%)
- Mid: 794 (45.3%)
- Senior: 400 (22.8%)
- Staff/Principal: 317 (18.1%)
- Lead/Director: 152 (8.7%)
- Executive: 54 (3.1%)
The author argues this means there are roughly 25 senior-plus roles for every entry-level role. They note that many internships are research-focused, and that some entry-level agent engineering roles may exist simply because the field is still young. They also ask whether teams are redesigning junior jobs around agent supervision or just avoiding junior hiring altogether.
