OpenAI says the official DALL·E GPT in ChatGPT will be retired on August 30, 2026.
- The release notes screenshot says users should download any images they want to keep before then.
- It also points people to ChatGPT Images for creating and editing images.
- User-created GPTs with image generation enabled are said to be unaffected.
