UNESCO and LG AI Research have launched a free, globally accessible AI ethics MOOC hosted on Coursera.
The course is grounded in the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, which was unanimously adopted by 193 countries in 2021. The launch is meant to move ethics from paper commitments into day-to-day practice for people building, deploying, and governing AI systems.
The course is available in 11 languages and is aimed at turning shared ethical principles into practical skills across the AI lifecycle.
