AI Math Breakthrough: OpenAI Models Credited with 234 Mathematical Results

AI is making incredible progress in advanced mathematics. According to tracking site VibeMathed, 312 previously unsolved math problems have now been fully resolved by AI, which were collectively open for 6,238 years. Of these, 130 results have been formally verified using Lean.
In terms of model contributions, OpenAI models dominate, credited across 234 tracked mathematical results. Surprisingly, Google DeepMind is credited with just 27 results, highlighting a massive gap in deep reasoning capabilities among leading LLMs.
