According to a trusted source, Anthropic's annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached $80 billion as of mid-July. At its current growth pace, the company could crack $100 billion in ARR by the end of August.
Additionally, an industry commentator argues that frontier models are not stagnating and that open-source vs. closed-source competition is not a zero-sum game. To fund the massive $1-2 trillion annual AI infrastructure build-out, the industry needs the revenues from both open and closed ecosystems to succeed.
