AI Educator Teams Up with Hugging Face for Open Model Series

AI educator Harper Carroll has announced a new Open Model Series in collaboration with Merve Noyan from Hugging Face.
The educational series aims to systematically explain the core concepts of open-source AI models, covering:
- What open-source and open-weight models are
- How they work under the hood
- How to download and run them on your own machines
- Why the open-source AI ecosystem matters
Carroll also noted that the video was edited entirely using Claude and hinted at a future tutorial on the editing workflow. Episode 1 is coming soon.
