The AI academic community is facing a growing blind review crisis.

Although major AI conferences theoretically enforce double-blind reviews (where reviewers don't know the authors and vice versa), the widespread practice of posting non-anonymous preprints on arXiv prior to submission effectively breaks this anonymity in practice. This raises significant concerns about the fairness and practical efficacy of the current academic peer-review ecosystem.
