Local Deployment of MiniMax H3 Blocked: OOM Across Multiple Resolutions
Reniva · reddit · 2026-08-03
A user frequently encountered Out-Of-Memory (OOM) errors when running the MiniMax H3 model locally. Attempts to use Reference-to-Video (R2V) failed even when dropping the resolution to 0.3MP and shortening the duration to 10 seconds.
Switching to Text-to-Video (T2V) mode at 0.4MP and 5 seconds avoided the OOM error, but the progress bar stalled for an extended period, seemingly stuck in a loop. The poster asked the community for help troubleshooting the issue.
