Interconnects Launches Artifacts Hub Tracking ~800 Open Models
natolambert · x · 2026-08-03
Interconnects has launched two free tracking tools for the open-weight model ecosystem to help make sense of accelerating releases.
- The Artifacts Hub: A curated dashboard tracking 792 core models released over the past two years. It integrates multi-source data, including Artificial Analysis's Intelligence Index, OpenRouter inference token usage, and a custom Relative Adoption Metric (RAM).
- Adoption Dashboard: A living dashboard detailing download and derivative model numbers by geography and organization, highlighting the US-China gap and growing players in the open ecosystem.
Built on top of their ongoing monthly roundups and internal data for popular models like Kimi K3 and DeepSeek R1, these tools aim to help the open ecosystem identify its strengths and grow.
