Dev One-Shots Full 3D Game with Opus 5: Complete with Models and Music
draginol · x · 2026-08-03
A developer used Anthropic's Claude Opus 5 model to essentially one-shot a fully functional 3D game.
According to the developer, apart from a single minor tweak for Safari keyboard compatibility, Opus 5 independently handled the game's quest system, map, enemy AI logic, and even automatically created models, textures, music, and sound effects without any external assets. The developer noted that this level of generation was impossible for the previous Opus 4 or GPT 5.6, directly showcasing the rapid evolution of LLMs in complex coding and multimodal generation.
