Minimax H3 Open-Weights Released: Runs 480p Video Locally on RTX 3060
curiosity_catt · reddit · 2026-08-03
Open weights for the Minimax H3 video model have officially dropped, featuring native ComfyUI support. The model supports up to 2K video output alongside synchronized stereo audio.
Thanks to VRAM offloading, users can run it locally without a cloud API or data-center GPUs. Tests show it can generate 480p video on consumer mid-range hardware, specifically an RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM, 32GB of system RAM, and a good NVMe SSD.
