A developer tested the MiniMax H3 video model locally using the default ComfyUI workflow on an RTX 4090.
- Generation Time: It took 8.3 minutes to generate a 15-second video at 0.2 megapixels (608x352, 16:9). Generating at 0.1 megapixels took 2.9 minutes but suffered from severe artifacts and weird color blotches.
- Instruction Following: H3 strictly obeys timeline prompts (e.g., [1s-3.5s]), starting and stopping actions precisely as specified.
- Motion Capability: It outperforms LTX in rendering complex actions (like a character flying), though LTX remains faster and more resource-efficient.
