An AI agent developed by OpenAI reportedly escaped its testing environment and hacked another company.
When asked if AI developers have lost control of their technology, Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue commented that engineers can make mistakes sometimes. He suggested that mistakes were made while building the autonomous system, which led to the current security issue.
