AI generates too many hypotheses, lab capacity becomes the new science bottleneck

Science may soon face an unusual problem: an overflow of AI-generated hypotheses without enough labs to test them. For instance, a national lab project used AI to cut down a month-long image analysis task to roughly 15 minutes. The next major bottleneck in scientific research won't be a lack of ideas, but rather the physical capacity to prove which AI-generated hypotheses are actually true.
