Xihu Xinchen Raises Hundreds of Millions in Series B+, Backed by Ant and Tomcat for Diffusion LLMs

AI startup Xihu Xinchen recently secured hundreds of millions of RMB in a Series B+ funding round led by GF Xinde, with continued backing from existing investors like Ant Group and Tomcat. The funds will be channeled into R&D for next-generation diffusion language models and multimodal product iterations.
Unlike mainstream autoregressive architectures, diffusion language models generate text from noise to order, offering advantages like parallel generation and native editability. Previously, founder Lan Zhenzhong's team open-sourced LLaDA2.2, the world's first large-scale Agentic diffusion model. Leveraging this paradigm, the company is building a product matrix for emotional companionship and virtual interaction, having already achieved a closed commercial loop in overseas markets.
