Testing Seedance 2.5: 90-Second Video Requires Splitting into Three 30-Second Shots, Character Sheets Fix Consistency

LudovicCreator · x · 2026-08-03

Creator LudovicCreator tested Seedance 2.5's long video generation (up to 3 minutes). He found that text-to-video attempts had consistency issues, but adding character sheets solved them. Also, a 90-second shot is actually generated as three 30-second shots, so he split the prompt into three 30-second sequences. There are still abrupt SFX cuts, but they can be fixed in post-production. Overall, he finds the feature very interesting.
