Next Telecom Revolution: 5G/6G Networks to Perceive Without Cameras
mustafamhus · x · 2026-08-03
Mohammad envisions the next evolution of telecom networks. He argues that the revolution lies not in faster internet speeds, but in networks gaining the ability to 'see' without cameras. AI can increasingly interpret reflections from WiFi, radar, and cellular signals to infer presence, movement, pose, and physiological signals. Thus, 5G and 6G networks could evolve from mere 'connectivity' to 'sensing' and ultimately 'intelligence', allowing the network to perceive the physical world directly.
