Researcher Claims OpenAI's New Math Results Will End Human Research

Cryptography expert Matthew Green amplified a bold take from AI researcher Divesh Aggarwal regarding OpenAI's latest results. Aggarwal stated that these findings are so significant they would easily win a best paper award at top theoretical computer science conferences like STOC or FOCS in any other year.
He went even further, declaring that this marks the end of human-led mathematical research. He argued that pursuing math as a profession no longer makes sense and dismissed critics who try to downplay the achievement by 'shifting the goalposts' as delusional.
