AI's Potential Beyond Math: Tackling Unresolved Problems in Entrepreneurship

Professor Ethan Mollick points out that beyond mathematics, if AI becomes truly capable, it could empirically address unresolved and highly valuable problems across various fields.
Using his own field of entrepreneurship as an example, he lists several great unanswered questions:
- What causes entrepreneurial success rather than merely being correlated with it?
- Is exceptional growth meaningfully predictable, or largely an emergent, path-dependent outcome detected only after it begins?
- Which ideas should be pursued, by whom, using which actions, and under what circumstances? When to stop?
- What skills can we teach that meaningfully improve entrepreneurial success?
- What is the smallest feasible intervention to move a region from low to robust entrepreneurial equilibrium?
