A commercial game developer with decades of experience notes that AI's core value is eliminating tedious work in the creation process.

He shared that for every shipped game, five ideas died prematurely because they sucked, and even released games wasted human labor on mid-stream pivots. By making labor cheaper, AI allows more new ideas to rise up and become possible, much like how Deluxe Paint unlocked new creations in the past.
