EU AI Act Takes Effect: Models Must Disclose AI Identity, Tech Giants Comply

The EU AI Act officially comes into effect today. Under the new rules, AI models must clearly identify themselves as AI, and AI-generated images, video, and audio must be labeled and watermarked. Major tech companies including OpenAI, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Mistral, and Anthropic have committed to adhering to these requirements.
