Comp AI Open-Sources Agentic CRM on Next.js, Launches 'eve' Agent Framework

Comp AI has open-sourced its internal CRM system under the MIT license. The system is agentic-first, featuring built-in durable research agents.
Alongside the CRM, the Agent development framework eve was introduced. Dubbed the "Next.js for agents," its core features include:
- Minimal Setup: Define and run an agent with just an instructions.md file.
- Modular Extensions: Supports adding skills, tools, and channels via folders.
- Seamless Integration: TypeScript files placed in the tools/ directory automatically become callable tools without extra registration.
- Sandboxing: Includes an isolated sandbox with customizable backend setups.
- Model-Agnostic: Supports self-hosting or serverless deployment with swappable underlying LLMs.
