Google Cloud's Revenue May Rely 48% on OpenAI and Anthropic by 2027, Analyst Warns

In a Bloomberg interview, EZ Primary Research CEO Ed Zitron warned that the capital expenditure wave driving tech stocks is heavily reliant on two unprofitable AI companies.

Citing UBS estimates, he highlighted that OpenAI and Anthropic will account for 27% of Google Cloud's revenue this year, surging to over 48% (contributing more than $124 billion) by 2027. Zitron argued that investors mistakenly believe massive compute investments are backed by diversified AI demand, when they are actually subsidizing unsustainable business models.
