Multi-Agent AI Synthesizes 5,100+ Papers to Map Long COVID Mechanisms

Brainworks Research released a draft of their Long COVID Mechanistic Pathway Atlas. The study utilizes a multi-agent AI methodology to synthesize over 5,101 primary research papers spanning more than 60 distinct biological drivers across viral, immune, and metabolic axes.
The research highlights that the volume of Long COVID literature has outgrown human capacity to parse manually. The AI-driven synthesis reveals why mono-therapies have mostly failed, suggesting that comprehensive protocols affecting multiple pathways simultaneously are required to address complex systemic dysfunction.
