EU Mandates Disclosure for Professional Generative AI Use Starting August 2

Starting August 2, new EU rules will mandate the disclosure of professional generative AI use in specific scenarios. Disclosure is required if the AI-generated content can be mistaken for real people, places, or events; if text on matters of public interest had no human review; or if a user is interacting with a chatbot.
