EU AI Act Takes Effect: Deepfakes and Chatbots Must Be Clearly Labelled

The EU Commission has outlined key enforcement details for its AI Act. AI-generated media and deepfakes must now be clearly labelled. Chatbots and virtual agents are required to explicitly state that they are not human. Furthermore, individuals must be notified when AI is actively analyzing them, such as in biometric or emotion tracking applications.
