MemGraphRAG: A Three-Layer Memory Multi-Agent GraphRAG Framework Accepted by KDD 2026
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-02
A team from Xiamen University introduced MemGraphRAG, a memory-based multi-agent system for Graph Retrieval-Augmented Generation, accepted by KDD 2026.
The framework organizes knowledge into a three-layer memory structure:
- Schema layer: Abstract schemas
- Fact layer: Extracted facts
- Passage layer: Unstructured passages
This architecture enables conflict-aware knowledge construction and memory-derived graphs, aiming for more reliable retrieval and generation.
