EU mandates AI interaction disclosures, sparking disclosure fatigue fears

According to Wired, new EU rules will require companies to explicitly inform users when they are interacting with AI or viewing AI-generated and edited content.

While aimed at increasing transparency and mitigating deepfake risks, there are fears that ubiquitous disclosure mandates will lead to public "disclosure fatigue," potentially rendering the regulation ineffective as AI becomes deeply entrenched in daily life.
