A core ComfyUI team member showcased MiniMax video running natively in ComfyUI, successfully generating 1080p, 25-second clips that demonstrate the model's high flexibility in resolution and duration.
The team spent months optimizing large models for consumer hardware. Minimum requirements are highly accessible: an RTX 3060 (12GB VRAM) and 32GB RAM can generate a 5-second 480p video in under 9 minutes end-to-end. The author expects it to run on 8GB VRAM as well. Open weights are coming soon.
