Christian Szegedy, former core researcher at Google, made bold predictions regarding the evolution of AI in mathematics:
- Within 1 year: AI will be strictly better than humans in all problem-solving aspects of math.
- Within 2 years: Producing mathematical theories will become so cheap that AI will generate them on the fly for applied domains.
