Faceplugin has released a completely free and open-source face recognition SDK on GitHub, supporting both Windows and Linux.
Built on deep learning models, the SDK focuses on privacy protection and supports fully on-premise deployment. Features include face detection, landmark extraction, feature embedding generation, and face similarity comparison.
