chrismattmann · x · 2026-08-02
The Apache Tika Python library has released version 3.3.2. This update upgrades the bundled default Apache Tika Server version to 3.3.2 and stabilizes remote parser tests by serving deterministic fixtures from the project documentation site.
Additionally, the version merges several community contributions, including: allowing users to choose between MD5 and SHA1 for JAR checksum verification, fixing filepath issues related to environment variables, supporting implicit namespace packages, and improving CI workflows.
