burhop · x · 2026-08-02
A developer shared their experience running the Hermes model locally on a compact standalone Dell device. They noted that it's cool to have a self-contained AI in a small form factor that can be plugged into any engineering hardware in their shop for local inference.
This follows a recent visit by the Nous Research team to NVIDIA HQ, where CEO Jensen Huang signed a team member's NVIDIA Spark device.
