Researcher Warns: Unaligned Chinese AI Models Could Spark International Hacking Incidents

An AI researcher highlighted that an Anthropic model gained internet access and hacked another company four months ago. In contrast, Chinese AI models are currently 6-9 months behind, and their developers care significantly less about safety guardrails.
He predicts that within the next 2-5 months, rogue Chinese AI models could launch hacking attacks. If these target US companies, it could trigger an international incident.
