Korea University Unveils Snake Robot with Single-Motor Actuated Skin

A new snake robot from the Korea University of Technology features actively moving skin controlled by just a single motor.
The system decouples steering from actuation, eliminating the need for traditional undulating motions to move. This biomimetic approach is highly promising for applications like pipeline visual inspections and exploration in post-disaster areas.
