Self-Improving Models Will Accelerate AGI, Expected by 2028

The author points out that many people still don't realize improved models will be more capable of self-improvement. He previously thought AGI would arrive in the 2030s, but now believes that if we haven't reached AGI by 2027-2028, we must seriously question what went wrong, pointing to potential energy bottlenecks, policy failures, or other factors.
