AI Beats Humans in Math and Cyber: Skeptics Are Just Coping

Many people DMing to downplay recent AI results are unfortunately engaging in the very human impulse to cope. It makes sense, as we've never faced this kind of shift before, but the progress is undeniable.
As pointed out, both math and cybersecurity are now existence proofs for superhuman intelligence. If you are still a skeptic, you need a strong case for why other knowledge work domains would be somehow harder to crack than these. Instead of being stuck in an immature grieving stage, it's time to update your priors and come to terms with it.
