YC-backed Stoa launches GPU RFQ marketplace, sees $300M+ demand in first month
ycombinator · x · 2026-08-02
Stoa is a newly launched RFQ marketplace for GPUs, aiming to solve the opaque pricing issues in the AI hardware market. Currently, $100M+ GPU deals often close privately via group chats and voice notes.
The core mechanism: buyers post their needs, vetted dealers bid blind, and firm quotes are provided within 48 hours. Stoa handles the entire process including KYB, contracts, shipping, and settlement. All transaction data is recorded to provide real pricing references for buyers, sellers, and lenders to mark, finance, and hedge against. The platform has seen over $300M in RFQs in its first month.
