Investor Jen Zhu Scott introduced the concept of the "DeepSeek Kill Zone," arguing that AI models that are inferior and significantly more expensive than DeepSeek should immediately cut spending and enter survival mode. Models that are superior but pricier, or slightly inferior but comparably priced, might survive a bit longer.
