luisdans · x · 2026-08-01
The European Commission announced it will begin enforcing the AI Act and new transparency requirements on August 2. The new rules mandate that certain AI systems must inform users when they are interacting with AI, and all deepfakes generated or altered by AI must be clearly labeled. Additionally, AI-generated content must carry machine-readable marks for easier detection. Over 180 organizations have already signed the Code of Practice.
