Truffle Security partnered with Hugging Face to conduct the largest secret scan of AI training data ever, analyzing a total of 7.6 PB.
Key Findings:
- Found 221,303 live unique credentials across 6,003 public datasets.
- Exposed items include cloud keys, live DBs, and API keys worth $920K/yr.
- Training data has no undo: a single key was found in 1,131 datasets, posing severe security risks.
