Microsoft AI Core Leader Nando de Freitas Announces Departure

Prominent AI scientist and Microsoft AI core leader Nando de Freitas announced his last day at the company. In his farewell message, he expressed gratitude to the Bing and Azure teams and specifically praised CEO Satya Nadella's leadership. He noted that Nadella taught the team to care not only about achieving SOTA (State of the Art) but also about delivering real value to communities. De Freitas believes Microsoft AI is now in a strong position with the necessary talent and resources.
