National University of Singapore (NUS) is introducing a new advanced course, Robot Learning in the Era of Foundation Models (CS 6283), taught by Duan Jiafei this semester.
The curriculum bridges classical techniques with recent advances in large-scale models, covering fundamentals of robotic manipulation, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. Students will gain hands-on experience building their first robot learning pipelines using the SO-101 from Hugging Face's LeRobot.
