KyeGomezB · x · 2026-08-01
The multi-agent orchestration framework Swarms has launched its v14 update, codenamed "Zena". Built over 7 weeks with 68 commits, this release fixes over 40 bugs and introduces several major capabilities:
- Automated Building: Introduced AutoAgentBuilder to streamline agent creation.
- Unified Tool Management: Added a unified MCP Manager with OAuth support.
- Architecture Overhaul: Completely rebuilt GraphWorkflow from the ground up and introduced three new multi-agent architectures.
- Security & Isolation: Added sandboxed computer-use tools.
The team claims the rebuilt GraphWorkflow is now up to 60× faster than LangGraph and significantly outperforms CrewAI and AutoGen, aiming to set the state-of-the-art for production-ready multi-agent infrastructure.
