DanielLockyer · x · 2026-08-01
A developer shared a practical case of using AI to take over a traditional home ventilation system. Through autonomous research, the AI recommended a $23 eBUS Adapter Shield C6 with built-in WiFi.
By connecting it to the old control unit using just two wires, the system was successfully integrated into Home Assistant. Post-installation, the user can now monitor CO2 levels, airflow, and temperature in real-time across different rooms.
